Purpose

There are people out there struggling more than you, they have less money than you, less people around them, even less talent than you. It’s easy to forget about those whom live in conditions that are dreadful compared to yours, yet some of these people have achieved more than what you have.

The true differences between you and them…is not based on your background, or the environment you grew up in, nor the society you live in, it’s that these people know what they have to do every single day they wake up. Every day is a precious gift that should not be wasted wondering if you’re doing the right thing. ‘Tomorrow’ is a psychological barrier that will lead you down a path ending with you as a temporary sordid mark on the world, and eventually, that mark will disappear. Tomorrow is not an option, it’s a false sense of living, leading to a fear of failure and worst of all, success. If you were on your deathbed, how many ideas, how many dreams, how many desires, will die with you? As you lie there helpless, they will look down at you, with angry faces, and you will die knowing that you were given these gifts, and you couldn’t be bothered to show them to the world!

Stop telling yourself that things will fall into place, you were not born with all the tools, you do not know all the answers, you were born to be a grafter. No easy route. Nothing given. Everything earned.

If you were stripped of everything you have, what would make you carry on? What is it inside of you that drives you, defines you and guides you? Perhaps you were made to help others, to be a leader, an artist, an engineer or an athlete. Whatever you were made to be, what is it that makes you, you? What is it that makes you different to everybody else? What is your purpose?

Living your life thinking you’re no good, that everyone else can do anything you can do, and better, is wrong. Admitting that some people have more talent than you, have more success than you, have more money than you, is right. But what they can’t take away from you, is your soul. Your heart of desire, your determination, your patience, they cannot out-work you if you understand that you must invest your soul into who you are. Think about why you may be suffering now, perhaps you are destined for something even greater than others, maybe you are not, but don’t just sit there thinking ‘what if’, wondering what’s right and what’s wrong, get out of your seat, go forth and find out why you’re still here. Find out why you keep getting out of bed in the morning, because if you can give all of who you are, dedicate your life to your purpose, you will become invincible.

I believe the universe gave each of us a purpose, a reason to exist. To find our gifts, and to share it with the world.  Not by hand-outs, no rituals, no ‘all-knowing’ words, just honest graft.  This is the universe’s greatest gift to us, an honest reason of being.  A shared belief that true accomplishment, is not something given, but something earned.  Our universe has been working purely to be the best it can be, for the last 14 billion years, and will carry on indefinitely until it can no longer function.  It has shown us how we must live, and we are capable.  Grafting is a gene that is shared with us all, because it came from our founding parent, mother nature.  We all have our time, but what legacy are you leaving behind?

The universe gave us life, and with life we have purpose.

Now live it.

There is no greater power to have in the world, than knowing you have a purpose.
